His career began in 1999 in the Middle East working for multinational pharmaceutical companies Roche Pharmaceuticals Inc., Merck and Co., Inc. and Glaxo Smith Kline Inc.(GSK). His professional pharmaceutical background includes success in sales and marketing positions, with managerial responsibilities for key pharmaceutical therapeutics in Oncology, Nephrology, Heamatology, Anti-infectives, Musculoskeletal injuries, Psychiatry, Neurology and Endocrinology.
His expertise includes market research, educational presentations for medical representatives, execution of marketing plans, support materials and final proofs for medical approvals. He was responsible for several new product launch campaigns; from prelaunch planning through final post launch evaluations.
Mohamed has travelled professionally to over 20 countries, worked in Egypt and the Middle East in the organization of over 30 International events (exhibitions, conferences, sports tournaments). His educational background in Pharmaceutical Sciences is from Cairo University, Egypt. He is a Registered Pharmacist with the BC Pharmacy Association, and an active Pharmacist providing community pharmacy services in British Columbia.
Mohamed has volunteered for eco-projects in Greece & England and was the PR director of End The Pain Project (ETPP) 2008-2010 in Vancouver. He is Director and Founder of REEL CAUSES Organization, supporting community and non profit organizations, through the power of film.
